Mark Jerome Klein

Mark Jerome Klein, 90, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on October 26, 2022, in Lenexa, KS.
Mark was born in Kansas City, MO to Robert and Fay Klein on September 19, 1932. He went to South West High School and graduated in 1950. He went on to earn a degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri and degrees in Law from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and from New York University. He worked at as an attorney in his own law practice for over 40 years. He also served in the United States Air Force as an attorney and continued in the United States Air Force Reserves where he achieved the rank of Colonel. He was also a long-term member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue until the time of his death.

Mark is survived by his children, Robert Klein of South Elgin, IL, Barbara Cutler of Overland Park, KS, Samara Klein of Overland Park, KS, and Melissa Klein-Wallen of Dobbs Ferry, NY, his grandchildren, Jacquelyne Vaughan, of Overland Park, KS, Alexis Cutler of Overland Park, KS, Sarah Klein, of South Elgin, IL, and Lyla Wallen of Dobbs Ferry, NY, and his brother Richard Klein, of Houston, TX. He is predeceased by his sister, Elaine Sklar, of Los Angeles, CA.

Funeral will be held at Louis Memorial Chapel at 6830 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO on October 30, 2022, at 1:00pm with Rabbi Moshe Grussgott of Kehilath Israel Synagogue officiating. Burial will follow at Sheffield Cemetery, 6200 Wilson Avenue, Kansas City, MO. The first night of shiva will be held at The Atriums, 7300 W. 107th Street, Overland Park, KS at 5:45pm. Louis Memorial Chapel will be handling the funeral arrangements.
