About Marshall C. Awbrey
The eldest child of Thomas N. Awbrey & Amelia (Grubbe) Awbrey, settlers of the Willakenzie area of Eugene, Oregon. He was also a Lane County pioneer and was a stockman.
Never married, he died at the Oregon State Soldier's Home, having fought in the Rogue River Indian War of 1855-56.
