MARSHELL LEONARD (OTHERWISE MARCHELL LEONARD)

may be the youngest son of John Leonard and his third wife, Marguerite Sllortssa. He was certainly born before his widowed mother married Patrick Baboone on 17 March 1879. In any event he was born in 1872 or 1873, probably at the Kamloops Indian Reserve in British Columbia, Canada.

When the 1891 census was enumerated he and his mother Margaret, and his younger sister Jane, were living in the household of his older brother, John Leonard.
