In her will dated 14 June 1676 and proved 6 March 1676/7, Elizabeth Jackson, the relict widow of Richard Jackson of Charlestown [and of Richard Browne of Watertown], bequeathed "to the children of my husband's kinswoman Mary Eccles deceased L10" ... "to Richard Eccles as an acknowledgement of his unwearying loves and pain to me, 20 nobles " ... "to Martha Eccles, a bed and furniture" ... Ric. Eccles and Jno. Jackson, Exec. ... "My loving friends Ric. Eccles and Jno. Jackson to be fully paid for all their care, pains, and costs for me." [MPR 5:4].

Mary and Anna (both widows), and Martha, whose husband, Thomas Andrew, joined in the sale.
