                           Gertrude Mahoney Botts, of Fairfax, VA, passed away on September 14, 2012, surrounded by her family.  Beloved wife of 58 years to Hubert J. Botts.  Loving mother of Wanda Botts-McManus and William "Tracy" Botts.  Cherished grandmother of Monica.  Great grandmother of Jacob, Mason and Elijah.  Dear sister of Jane Peterson.  Gertrude was predeceased by her granddaughter Cristina McManus as well as 7 siblings.   A lifetime Fairfax resident, Gertrude worked for over 25 years with the Fairfax City Government as a Revenue Inspector.<br/>The family will receive friends at the EVERLY FUNERAL HOME, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030 on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 11 AM in St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 3700 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, VA.  Interment will follow in National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA.
