Martha (Mercy) Furman Martha is named in her husband's will: Jacob Reader of Newtown, 8 Feb 1694/5, wife Martha to have use of the estate until son are 18, then she shall have the dwelling and a 1/3 of the land during her widowhood.Land to sons Jacob, Joseph and Josias. To dau. Elizabeth 18 pounds when of age. Wife Martha exe. Wit Content Titus, Johannis Flynn, Daniel Phelps. Probate 23 May 1695.
