MRS. FORMAN PASSES AWAY; RITES Sunday
Services Said At Zion Hill For Widely Mourned 45-Year-Old Lady. Funeral rites were said Saturday afternoon at four, from the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Amite County, For Mrs. Martha Ann Forman, respected 45-year-old matron of the Route 1, Liberty community. Mrs. Forman succumbed at 7:15 p. m. Friday at the home of her father, Henry Bradshaw, in the same community.
She was born July 30, 1905, in Amite County and had lived for the past year in the home in which she died. She had been in bad health for the past three years and was bedridden since last Dec.
Mrs. Forman was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. n
Rev B. T. Bishop of Meadville was officiating minister at last services, with Rev. Nazarus assisting and several Wilkinson brothers acting as pallbearers.
Survivors Listed
Her husband, the late Albert Forman, preceded her in death by six years.
She leaves three daughters, Miss Iria Forman, Pineville, La.; Misses Glada and Beverly Anne Forman, both of Independence, La.; three sons, Raiford, Liberty ; . Ellis, Independence, and Douglas Forman, Fernwood; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Freeman, Route 2, Magnolia, and Mrs. Carrie Nunnery, Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, Clinton Bradshaw, Smithdale, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bradshaw, Liberty.
Burial was in Zion Hill Cemetery with Hartman Funeral Home in charge of services. "
