Foss, Martin H. — Was born in Norway in 1846 and came to Boise Basin in 1872, where he engaged in mining and more recently in stock raising. Married in Boise in 1886 to Hannah Semb of Norway, who died twenty-two years ago. Mr. Foss died at his home in Gardena June 19, 1929, and is survived by a daughter, Mrs, R. P. Purcell of Caldwell, and three sons: Henry, John and Marcus Foss of Gardena.
