About Martin Halliburton

The following information is from Larry Creed:
Martin Halliburton was an Orderly Sergeant in the Company of Capt. Joseph Williams, Dyer's First Tennessee Mounted Regiment.
He participated in the siege of Pensacola and the battle of New Orleans under the command of General Andrew Jackson.
He enlisted September 28, 1814 in Dickson, Tennessee and was discharged April 27, 1815.
Martin moved to Randolph County somewhere around 1848.
