Martin F. Lipp, 79, 504 First St. S.E., Mandan, died April 28, 1999, in a Mandan hospital. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery.
Martin was born on March 2, 1920, in Center, the son of Frank and Margaret (Schafer) Lipp. Martin was raised in Center. On April 14, 1942, he married Margaret Mosbrucker in Center. Martin was employed by Clairmont Construction as a foreman for 15 years and belonged to the Carpenters Union for 45 years.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Martin Jr., Minot, Jerome and Lynette, and Allen and Linda, all of Mandan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette and Tom Doll, Dawson, Diane and Ray Theurer, Addison, Ill., and Debbie and Darrell Tischmak, Sauk Rapids, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Adam and Marie, Fargo; one sister and brother-in-law, Frances and George Snider, Port Townsend, Wash.; and very special friends, Leroy and Charlene Butler, and their children, Nash and Angel, Mandan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and three sisters.
