TRAMMER IS KILLED IN THE RED JACKET SHAFT.
Martin Rolando. a Trammer employed in the Red Jacket shaft, was instantly killed this afternoon when a piece of the footwall at the 71st level turned, pinning him beneath, Rolando was about 25 years of age.

MARTIN RONALDO INQUEST.
Coroner Fisher conducted an inquest last evening to ascertain the cause of death of Martin Rolando, who was killed yesterday afternoon in the Red Jacket shaft the C. & H. mine. After hearing the evidence, the jury returned a verdict to the effect Rolando was struck by a fall of rock on the seventy-first level of the mine, this being the cause of death. Rolando was 25 years of age and is survived by no relatives in this district. He was a member of the Italian Benevolent society.
