Mary L. Bailey

Mrs. Mary Pistorius Bailey, 80, died at 8 am today in the Decatur and Macon county hospital where she had been a patient since Nov. 21. Mrs.Bailey made her home with a daughter,Miss Irene Bailey, 305 W. Macon street.
She was born Jan.25,1868 in Blue Mound township,a daughter of John and Caroline Miller Pistorius and was married to Louis W.Bailey who died Feb. 19, 1942. She was a member of the Methodist church in Coal City.
Mrs.Bailey leaves the daughter with whom she lived , three sons, Leo L. of Decatur, Virgil of Coal City and Herbert R. of near Maroa, a sister, Mrs.Bettena Weiffenbach of Smithon,Mo. and two brothers D.L.Pistorius, Blue Mound and William of Spokane, Wash. there are two grandchildren.
The body is at the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home where friends may call after 1 pm Wednesday. Funeral services will be at 1:30pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with burial in Zion cemetery.
