“BIRTHS~On the 15th Inst. At Carlton-upon-Trent, the Lady of the Rev. John Drake Becher, Vicar of South Muskham, of a daughter.”

In the 1841 Census at Norwood Park, Southwell were John Becher aged 35, his wife Elizabeth & children Mary, John & Elizabeth.

" Marriages November 17 at the Collegiate Church, Southwell, Notts, by the Hon and Rev Stephen W. Lawley, Rector of Es?ck and sub-dean of York, the Rev. John Ash Gaussen, Vicar of Rolleston, Notts, eldest son of William Gaussen, Esq of Magherafelt, County Derry, to Mary Ann, eldest daughter of the Rev. John Drake Beecher [sic] of Hill House, Southwell."

Probate The will of Mary Ann Gaussen, wife of the Reverend John Ash Gaussen, Clerk, late of Rollestone in the County of Nottingham deceased who died 21 Dec at Rollestone aforesaid was proved at Nottingham by the oath of the said Rev John Ash Gaussen of Rollestone aforesaid the sole executor. Probate being granted under certqain limitations. Effects under 450 pounds.
