Mrs. Bennett, 73, Miles City, Dies
MILES CITY, MT.
Mary V. Bennett, 73, died in the Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City Saturday.
She was born July 31, 1887 in Mason City, MO., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Tomlin.
She spent her youth in Missouri and Illinois and moved to Edgley, N.D. in 1903.
She was married to Marion Ward Bennett April 1, 1909, in Merricourt, N.D.
They homesteaded near Ingomar, MT., in 1912 and lived in Miles City. MT., since 1949.
Survivors include a son Clarence, of Miles City; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Beiry of Rosebud, MT., and Mrs. Viola Cole, of Billinhs, MT.,
Five sisters, Mrs. Elmer Ellingson of Edgley, N.D., Mrs. Clara Gross of Cavaleir, N.D., Mrs. Ralph reney of Oregon City, OR., and Mrs. Bert Washburn of Nampa, ID., and Mrs. Ernest White, of Idaho Falls, ID.;
20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at beals vhapel, with the Rev. Harry Poe officiating.
