Mary L. Bogdahn, 62, of Rumery Road died Sunday at her home after a long illness.
She was born in Biddeford, a daughter of John and Mauda F. Chase Sleeper, and attended Saco schools, graduating from Thornton Academy in 1954.
On Nov. 5, 1955, she married William A. Bogdahn at Saco United Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bogdahn was a member of the East Waterboro Free Baptist Church.
She enjoyed sculpting miniature country and wildlife scenes and miniatures for doll houses.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years of Dayton; three daughters, Mrs. William (Laura) Craine of Hudson, N.H., Judi King of Wells and Mrs. Rick (Leilani) Guay of Dayton; two sons, Steve of Murray, Neb., and Scott Bogdahn of Dayton; and 12 grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hope Memorial Chapel, Biddeford, where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Goodwins Mills Cemetery.
