About Mary Booker

Mary (Lomax) Booker (c1816-c1850). Joseph Lomax (1894) says she died before 28 February 1888. The 1850 census suggests she died before 1850, as she does not appear in her husband's household.

It seems that one of her sisters married Rudolph Aud, although the only evidence is a letter from J. W. Phillips of Fulton, Missouri, to Joseph Lomax, dated 16 February 1888.

After the death of her husband, Edward Booker, Mary's daughters might have lived with the family of Rudolph Aud's father Joseph Aud in Osage County, Missouri. A letter from D. C. Arens, of Portland, Missouri, to Joseph Lomax, dated 28 February says that Mary's two daughters lived near Chamois, Osage County, Missouri.
