Thomas Broughton of Boston,merchant, and wife Mary, he being indebted to the amount of .£4,000, to Henry Shrimpton and Lt. Richard Cooke of Boston, merchants, and Walter Price of Salem, merchant, and also to Anthony Stoddard, John Checkley and others, conveyed to them land and buildings in Boston April 19, 1659. Possession of Noddle's island, etc., given to Walter Price for himself and the others the next day.—Pages 228-230
