About Mary Clapham
When Mary was 14 years old, She was taken by her father or grandfather to the town hall, where she heard William Booth preach. It was through William Booth's sermon, and at the end of the sermon they sang that hymn ‘He (Jesus) breaks the power of canceled sin, He sets the prisoner free, His blood avails for me.’ and as she sang this, the last words changed her life for good.
