Eleanor Conger Born Apr. 2 1814 Died Feb. 24, 1907

"The cemetery records that I saw today refer to her burial as Eleanor but listed on the deed as Ellen. I have seen on other records that lady's named Eleanor had the nickname Ellen. That is all I can say about the mystery."

(Might be a situation like my mother, who didn't ever use her real first name, but always used her middle name like a first name instead on everything, driver's license, etc. She preferred her middle name. Z. Tom)

The Conger Genealogy shows her first name as Mary, I believe.
