About Mary Ann Cusack

Mary Ann was baptised on the 16th Sept 1888 by Rev. Fr. Joseph Hayes. Her sponsor was Lydia Clarke.
She lived for just 8 months with her parents at Warrenheip. In March 1889 she contracted Gastroenteritis and Asthma and following treatment for three weeks she died from complications relating to these health issues.
She was the first burial in the grave at the Ballarat New Cemetery which she now shares with five other family members, including her grandmother, Bridget, her father John, a sister Winifred, brother Patrick and uncle James.
