About Mary Elizabeth David
When Mary Elizabeth died in 1791, her young daughter, Judith, became a ward of her maternal grandfather, Henry White, of Buckingham County. Henry later named Judith in his will, to share equally with his daughters. The David family had been living on David's Creek, Buckingham. The widowed Peter David then remarried in Franklin County.
