About Mary C. Dodds
Shelbyville Democrat - Mon., Jan.24, 1910
AGED LADY DIED VERY SUDDENLY AT ST. PAUL Mrs. Mary Dodds Answered Final Summons About Ten-Thirty This Morning--Funeral Announcement Will Be Given Later
Mrs. Mary Dodds, widow of the late John Dodds, died very suddenly at the home of her son-in-law, Amos Jones, in St. Paul, about ten-thirty o'clock this morning. Altho Mrs. Dodds had been ill for some time, her death came very unexpectedly and news of her demise came as a shock to her many friends. Mrs. Dodds had passed the seventy-fourth milestone and at the time of her death was one of the most aged residents in the town.
Practically all of her life has been spent in St. Paul. She is survived by a family of ten chil-dren, among them being Mrs. Lee Wolverton, Mrs. William Rutherford, Mrs. Amos Jones, [Mrs. J.T. Hungate, Mrs. Robert Boyd, Lon Dodds and Amos Dodds, all of Shelby county.] On account of her long residence in St. Paul, Mrs. Dodds was perhaps the best known lady in that community. The funeral arrangements are in charge of Stewart & Fix. The time and place of the funeral will be announced later.
