About Mary Everard
Mary ____
Not Winche
- Born by 1616 based on birth of first child
- Died Aft. May 1680
- Married by 1639 to Richard Everett / Everand of Dedham as his second wife.
- Often conflated with Mary Winche who married Richard Everett of Springfield and Long Island. She is not identical.
Her parents are not known. Her maiden name is not known. Any parents shown on the Internet are a complete fabrication by non-genealogists.
Mary Winche was born about 1619. She was enrolled as a passenger on the Francis from Ipswich on April 30, 1634, at age 15, as a member of the household of Rowland Stebbins [perhaps her relative. Claims he was her uncle have not been proven]. The family lived first in Roxbury, then moved to Springfield by 1639. Mary married Richard Everett in Springfield on June 29, 1643. Her death date is unknown. Richard Everett of Springfield born about 1618 is thought to be identical to the name who died just before 4 SEP 1668 in Jamaica, Queens, New York, and had sons John, Nicholas and Richard.
Note Richard Everett in Springfield is not identical to Richard Everett / Everand of Dedham who had a wife name Mary ____. Richard Everett / Everand of Dedham was having children at the exact same time as Richard Everett of Springfield and Long Island so it is impossible they are the same person.
Mary Winche also did not marry William Holton.
