Mary Getchell

Mary was born 3 Mar 1769 at Berwick, ME. Mary died 21 Feb 1840, at the age of 70, and was buried at Gatchell Cem., Brunswick, Maine. She was the daughter of  Benjamin HEARD and Mary/Molly ANDREWS. Abraham and Mary had 4 children. After Abraham's death Mary m. (2) Aaron GETCHELL on 10 Jul 1814 at Brunswick, Cumberland Co., ME. Sources: Obit. Hallowell Gazette 1815. Abraham Furbish late of Lisbon, estate notice 20 Sept. 1815. Marriage: Berwick Church Records. Census: Lisbon 1810 Mary appears with 3 girls, Abraham was probably dead at this time. Abraham, Jr. b.1811 after census. The child listed in the VR of Lisbon as Louis is Lois who marries Pyram Prince from death record.
