Mrs. Goodwin was born July 14, 1868, in Adamsville, a daughter of David and Ellenor Adams. On March 20 1885, she was married to Isaac Smith Goodwin in the St. George Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The couple spent most of their lives in Beaver, where Mrs. Goodwin was active in the Primary Assn. and Relief Society work.

Five of her nine children are living. They are Lewis Goodwin, Ephraim; Mrs. May (James) Patterson, Beaver; Mrs. Lucinda (E. O.) Richards, Garfield; Martin Goodwin, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Mrs. Vera (Delwin) Richards, Kearns.
