I'm interested to know the source of the birthdate and birthplace of Nicholas HAILE (HEALE). Also the claim that his wife Mary was a TRAVERS. I haven't found any documentary evidence of any of these items, and Linda Lawhon, who was the Travers researcher par excellence, told me about 10 years ago, "She was *not* the daughter of Rawleigh Travers." Neither Linda nor I ever turned up any solid evidence of Mary -- Haile/Heale's maiden name. If someone has, I'd certainly like to see it.

Rawleigh Travers and Elizabeth ( ???), widow of Thomas Stephens, married AFTER the death of Thomas Stephens who died in 1654. Please note:
1. There is no mention of a daughter, Mary.
2. Mary (???) Hale was having children BEFORE Rawleigh and Elizabeth married.[2]
Research Notes
This profile originally had a birth date of 9 Feb 1625 which was after the death date. I’ve located a baptism record for 15 Nov 1607 however the spelling of the surname is different. I tried to update the birth metadata to reflect this but it makes the father too young so have left it as original. Mary was baptised on 15 November 1607 at Manchester Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire.[3]
