John Holly and Mary Waitsill were married about 1640.

The Holley family arrived in New England between 1630-1635. The town records show they resided in cambridge MA. in 1639.
After his father's death, John Holley moved to Stamford Ct. in 1645, where he became a prominent town official serving as selectman, representative and judge.
Records of land being willed to John on the Carles river in Cambridge, Ma.
