According to Wallingford History, Dr John Hull came to town in 1687 and built a saltbox house at Barnes Road and N Main St extension. It was last lived in by Russell and Helen Barnes. The home was then dismantled, preserved and rebuilt at 441 Scofieldtown Rd Stamford CT.
