Death of Mrs. Mary A. Jeffs....Came to Utah in the Hand-Cart Company...Was 76 years Old and spent Nearly All of Her Life in Salt Lake City....Mrs. Mary Ann Jeffs, the wife of William Y. Jeffs, of this city, one of the pioneers who came to Utah in 1856 with the hand-cart company, died at her home yesterday morning. The deceased was 76 years old, a native of England, a woman of much force of character, and widely known throughout this city. The funeral services will take place in the Sixteenth ward meeting house at 2 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon.
