aka: Mrs. A. Conrad Jones, secretary of the Montgomery Historical Society, "809 Swede St., Norristown" at the turn of the century and for many years a genealogist. Mary Louise remained a Trustee of the Historical Society for many years. (see their bulletins)

• Spent first part of her life in Jeffersonville
"Mary Louise Bean (who) graduated from Wellesley College Class of 1889 has for many years been an active worker in the Montgomery Co. Historical Society & is member of the Board of Governors in the Society of the Descendants of the Schwenfelder Exiles." (per Mary Rogers (Bean), her niece, 1903-1997)
• Assisted with the planning of the centennial celebration of Norristown ( https://archive.org/stream/norristown18121900heys_0#page/n125/mode/1up )
• A strong woman emotionally: Both her father and one of her two brothers committed suicide. She also looked after her widowed mother for years as well as two nieces after the children's mother, her sister-in-law Sarah Bean (Hunter), died.
