Frontenac Teacher Dies. Mrs. Mary Ann Kerns Jones, 37, In Schools There 19 Years.

Frontenac, Oct. 26.--Mrs. Mary Ann Kerns Jones, 37, died at 11 o'clock last night in the hospital in Pittsburg following a 4-month illness with a heart ailment. She had been teaching in the schools here.

Mrs. Jones was born Dec. 12, 1906, in Frontenac, and had lived here all her life. She was a graduate of the College, and for nineteen years had taught school here, for the past ten years being English instructor and dramatics coach in the junior high school.

Survivors are the widower, Arthur D. Jones; her mother, Mrs. Mary Kerns; two brothers, John S. Kerns of Pittsburg and Martin Kerns of Frontenac, and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Crosetto and Miss Agnes Kerns of Frontenac.

The body is at the Friskel chapel where the rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tonight. The rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tomorrow night at the home. The body will be taken to the home tomorrow afternoon.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the Frontenac Catholic church with Father Ildephonse in charge. Burial will be in Frontenac.
