Mary Lawrence

Biography ==Mary was born in 1713, probably in St James Jamaica as her father was living there at the time. She passed away in 1798.

Research notes==Painting of 'Mary, daughter of John Lawrence of Fairfield Estate and wife of Philip Anglin of Paradise Estate, Jamaica. Born later than 1700and married in 1723. Grandmother of the first Lord Abinger.'This is probably a typo (1733), as she would have been ten years old at marriage and daughter Elizabeth was born in 1747.

Her death has been reported in either Hanover Cornwall, or Montego BaySt James. 1794 burial by the same name rejected, as it lists her as widow but Col. Anglin died in 1798.
