Mrs. Mary E. Marriott, widow of John Marriott, died Thursday night at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Frances Peterson of Roy, after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 12, 1862, in Richmond, a daughter of Vincent and Mary Miller Cooper. She was married in 1884 in Oxford, Idaho, to John Marriott, who died in 1927 in Roy. Since then she has lived in Plain City, Warren, Roy and Ogden.
Mrs. Marriott is survived by the following children: Vincent Marriott, Mrs. Bertha Hamilton and Mrs. Martha Crampton, of Blackfoot, Idaho; Roy Marriott and Emil Marriott of Ogden; Mrs. Frances Peterson and Wren Marriott, Roy; Mrs. Blanche Wittman, Soda Springs, Idaho, and Willard S. Marriott, Lava, Idaho. The following brothers and sisters survive: Samuel Cooper, Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Martha Sands, Hagerman, Idaho; Mrs. Maggie Coffin, Arimo, Idaho, and Mrs. Frances Hockins, Ogden.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at two p.m. in Lindquist & Sons' funeral chapel, with Bishop R.. Greenwood conducting. Friends may call at the chapel Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday until time of services. Interment will be in West Weber Cemetery.
