Mary (Miller) Strachey

Mary was the older (or "oldest") of two daughters of James Miller of York County, VA. (Only two daughters are mentioned in his will.) Her younger sister, christened Elizabeth, was universally called "Isabella".

Mary was already married to William Strachey V by 1656 (she is named in the will as "daughter Mary Strechey").

She died sometime before 1685, as her husband William Strachey V returned to England and spent his last few years there with a wife named Martha. In fact, she was probably deceased before 1678, as her brother James left his entire estate to her sister and never mentioned her at all.
