The daughter of Deacon Eliasaph & Mary, Mary Preston married (1) Caleb Merriman on July 9, 1690 in Wallingford, Conn. and (2) Samuel Munson on March 10, 1707/8.

Mary Preston was the daughter of Dea. Eliasaph Preston and his first wife Mary _____ Preston.

Her birth date is problematic. Families of Ancient New Haven states she was born 12 April 1674 recorded in Stratford, Connecticut or 24 April 1674 recorded in Wallingford, Connecticut.[1] However the printed indexed versions say she was born April last 1674 in the Stratford records.[2]. The Wallingford printed records list the birth as 28 April 1674.[3] Mary Preston married Caleb Merriman, July 9, 1690, by Theo[philus] Yale in Wallingford.[4]

The children of Caleb and Mary were born in Wallingford.[1]
