Mary Lucy Orth

Mrs. Mary Lucy Alexander Orth, 81, of 2705 Grandview Ave., died Wednesday at 11:20am at Mercy Hospital after an extended illness. She was a member of Manly United Methodist Church, the Women's Liberty Class and the Women's Society for Christian Services.

Her husband, Edward Orth died in 1968.

Surviving are three sons; Lt. Col. James Orth of Warner Robins, GA, Burl Orth of Hamilton, Ohio, and Thomas Orth of 1423 High Street, Portsmouth, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs Mildred (Howard) McCall, of Butler, PA, Mrs. Melba (Melvin) Clapham, of Westerville, Ohio, Mrs. Dora Mae (Reginald) Huffman, 2514 Shawnee Road, Portsmouth, Ohio, and Mrs. Phyllis (Jack) Sparks, Wheelersburg, Ohio, 14 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Services are to be conducted Saturday at 2pm at Daehler Funeral Home by Rev. Ralph Hudson, Interment is to be in Memorial Park, Wheelersburg.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9pm tonight and from 2-4 and 7-9pm Friday.
