Mary Elizabeth Phillips

Mrs. Mary E. Phillips, 59 years old, died last Thursday morning at 7:20 o'clock at her home in the Mound neighborhood after a week of illness. Funeral services were held for her at the Hayti cemetery by Rev. D.K. Foster. Deceased was cherished by her children as a good, faithful mother who sadly miss her and feel the emptiness of a home that can never be filled without her.
She is survived by her children, Harvey, Harmon and Henry Phillips, three sons, and Katie Blankenship, Susie Dixon, Janie Ingram and Bessie Lowenstein, four daughters, as well as leaving many good friends.
