About Mary Bond Poad
Mary Bond Poad (Fowell) and John Poad were married on the 8th Jan 1800 in St Dominick Church, Cornwall. They had a special 100 year anniversary for them at St Dominck Chrurch on the May 9th 2000 and the church was presented with a kneeler cushion especially made for Mary and John by Alison Richards. The kneeler can be seen at the church - (yellow cross). Alison Richards is a descendent of Phillipa Jane and George De'arth.

John Poad was born 15 Dec 1771 died 25 Nov 1857 his Will states that - I give Devise ad Bequeath unto my beloved Wife Mary Bond Poad all that my Lease hold... etc.
