Mary Unknown and Eliasaph Preston had a daughter Mary b. April 1674.[1] Mary's birth is estimated between 1643 and 1655, based on her husband's birth and her marriage date.

Davis History of Wallingford calls Mary, Mary Wilcoxen, widow of Thomas Kimberly of Stratford, and this is frequently repeated, but Torrey calls it doubtful and Jacobus just calls her Mary.[2] Davis' genealogies are filled with errors. The Mary married to Thomas Kimberly was the widow of William Preston (hence the confusion). Davis assigns this marriage a date 9 July 1673 and Mary's death as 16 April 1674.
