About Mary Reddig
Mrs. Mary Reddig, 82, Lodi, San Joaquin County, died today in the home of a daughter, Mrs. David Kintner, at 2703 Van Ness Boulevard following a brief illness. She had been visiting her daughter since June 25th. She was a native of Russia and had lived in California 75 years and in Lodi since 1924. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
In addition to Mrs. Kintner she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Hulda Peak of Hollywood; a son, John Reddig of Glendale; three brothers, Henry and Peter Gaede of Lodi and Jake Gaede of Colorado; a sister, Mrs. Anna Herren of Enid, Okla.; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mrs. Mary Reddig Succumbs In Fresno
Mrs. Mary Reddig, a resident for more than 30 years, died yesterday morning while visiting her daughter, Esther Kintner, in Fresno. She was 83. She was the wife of the late Carl Reddig of Lodi, who preceded her in death in 1950. Mr. Reddig was well known to many Lodi district residents, having served them as a McNess dealer for many years.
Mrs. Reddig was born in Kuban, Russia and came to America in 1878 with her parents. She and her family moved to Lodi in 1923 from Clinton, Mo. The family home here is at 329 Flora st. The deceased was a member of the Hilborn Seventh-day Adventist Church, and in earlier years had been an active member of its Dorcas Society.
Her survivors include a son, Jonas Reddig of Glendale; two daughters, Mrs. Hulda Peak of Hollywood, and Mrs. Kintner of Fresno; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was the sister of Henry and Pete Gaede, both of Lodi, and Jake Gaede of Arvada, Colo., and leaves a number of nieces and nephews, including Carl and Clarence Gaede, and Mrs. Harry Winters, all of Lodi.

Mary Reddig Rites Held In California
Funeral services were held on July 6 in Lodi, Calif., for Mary Reddig, 84, pioneer resident of the Weatherford community. Services were held from Lodi funeral home and burial was in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Mrs. Reddig was a sister of the late Dr. D. Goede.
