Mary Reid

Mary was the third of eight children of John Michael Masterson, Sr. and Catherine Agusta Dever Masterson. She grew up in Lambertville. She was Roman Catholic, and she choose the confirmation name of Colette.

She married Gordon Davidson Reid on June 25, 1902. They had four children: Catherine in 1905, John Gordon in 1909, Francis Patrick in 1911 and Marie in 1913.

Mary had reddish hair and freckles. She had a jovial personality, and she was always happy with a great laugh. She was strictly a homebody.

She lived in Lambertville and Milford as an adult.

Mary died of a stroke at her younger daughter's home. Her granddaughter, Audrey Doreen Reid, who died in 1939 at age 7 months, is also buried in Mary's grave but is not on the gravestone.

She was the grandmother of 13, and she had 63 additional descendants as of late 2007.
