About Mary Rhodes
Mary was the mother of 6 children when her first husband, Nicholas Bristow died. At that point, she married a recent widower, Randolph Rhodes, who had 4 children from his first wife. Together they had 3 children, when her second husband died prematurely in 1747.
Mary was appointed executrix of his estate on January 3, 1748 in Middlesex County, Virginia. On April 4, 1749 she farmed out all of her step children.
