Mary Margaret Roberts

Mary is a daughter of Susanna Atwood and George Margrate of Deerhurst Parish.

She is the first wife of Samuel Roberts. They married 6 October 1801 at Deerhurst Parish Church and resided at the hamlet of Apperley. They had seven children.

Deerhurst Banns of Marriage: "Samuel Roberts & Mary Margrate both of this Parish 6th 13th & 20th September 1801"

Deerhurst Register of Marriages: "Samuel Roberts of this Parish of Deerhurst, batchelor, & Mary Margrate of the same, spinster, were Married in this Church by Banns 6th October 1801 Witnesses: Richard Margrett [sic] Margrate & Elizabeth Dipper"

Mary died at age 64. Burial date is used as death date.
