Kansas City Star, The (MO) - February 1, 2007 Deceased Name: MARY A. SCHNEIDER Mary A. Schneider (Senner), 63, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007 in San Diego, CA after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born Jan. 3, 1944 to Harold E. and Sarah (Meadows) Senner in Concordia, Ks. Mary received her bachelor's degree from Washburn U. in Topeka, KS, a master's from Kansas State U., and a JD in 1970 from Washburn Law School in Topeka. She served as an Assistant U.S. District Attorney in Kansas City, MO and was chief of the Criminal Division for several years. After moving to San Diego, CA in 1988, she was an Assistant U.S. District Attorney in the southern CA district and was serving in the Appellate Division at the time of her retirement in 1999. Surviving her are her husband Retired Judge Robert B. Schneider of the home in San Diego, and two sons: Scott S. Schneider and his wife Michele of San Diego and Bradley R. Schneider of Los Angeles, CA; Mary's mother Sarah M. Senner and sister S. Jane Wise and her husband Urban, all of St. Joseph, MO. Mary's father Harold E. Senner preceded her in death in Nov. 2003. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Feb. 2, 2007 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka, KS.
