Loye,

Here is what I have been able to put together searching several famil trees and records

George Stone was born in Northamptonshire, England and he died in Jamestown, VA. USA, Notations in various family histories have George as 22 years of age when he arrived to the colonies (have not yet found the exact date, location of arrival or what ship he arrived on to the USA, one account states the name of the ship was Beauty, (cannot find as of yet any records for this ship in 1620 or any ship by this name) He married Mary Vernon b 1600 d 1668 Lancaster, V A USA, some accounts he married her in Virginia others in England and that she was pregnant when they arrived in the colonies with their son John Stone who was born soon after arrival in 1620 ( this can also be hard to imagine if you are familiar with documentations of what it was like to sail in those times, Mary must have been a very strong and healthy person to made such a journey, in the late stages of pregnancy, not saying that this is impossible mind you but rare in those days. The diets aboard ship was not something you could get modern time young people to eat much less drink stale rancid water, have read where many people during this time drank beer in fear of the water, they though beer nutritious, but a lot of the passengers arrived to their destinations with rotting teeth and very bad breath, Could it have been the beer? And what about pregnancy and alcohol?)

( I figure if John Stone was born in 1620, that it was unlikely that George Stone arrived in 1620 in Virginia, married Mary Vernon and had John all in the same year. More is needed on Mary Vernon to establish this time line.)
