  • Mary Becher was the eldest child of John Townsend Becher and his wife Mary O'Donovan. She was born in 1758 and orphaned in 1761.
  • After the death of her parents, Mary and his siblings Anne & Henry were brought up by their Uncle Michael Henry Becher and his wife Catherine French.
  • Mary married in July 1778 to William Wrixon. In August 1778 her Uncle Michael Henry Becher died.
