  Mrs. Mathilda Walz, 72, 911 East Howard street, died Thursday, at 9:07 p.m. at the Winona General hospital. Mrs. Walz had been ill for four years. She was born April 14 1862, in Poland, and had resided here for 45 years. She is survived by one son, Michael, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Herman Kring, Waterville, Minn.; two brothers, John Malotka, Homer Ridge, Minn., and Frank Malotka, Winona; four sisters, Mrs. Paul Bambenek, Mrs. Frank Meyers, Mrs. Charles Bambenek and Mrs. Joseph Monahan, Winona, and one grandchild. Her husband, Michael Walz, died Oct. 17, 1933. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at St. Joseph's church, the Rev. George Jaegen officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Other arrangements are incomplete.
