Matt (44), a pharmaceutical representative, was found tied-up, with a plastic bag pulled over her head, and strangled to death at the Loerie's Call Guest House, in Nelspruit, on 14th May 2002.
"She was found lying on her bed with her hands tied from behind with a plastic strap. Her legs were also tied and she had marks around her throat, suggesting she had been strangled," said Lowveld police spokesperson Captain Benjamin Bhembe. "One of her eyes was bruised, giving the impression of an assault either with a fist or a hard object," he added.
She was dressed in tracksuit pants when her body was found a cleaner.
