The children of Barent Tysen (b Dec 1644, d 1720) and Magdalena Jans (b 1648, d 1707) are as follows:

e. Matthys Tysen / Sweem (bp 14 Jul 1678, d ~1707). [<Barent<Thys] Sponsors for Matthys’ baptism were Wolford Janse and Adrianntje van Deventer. On 1703 Matthys bought land at Karles Neck, Staten Island. Matthys Sweem (listed as Tyse Swame) is mentioned in minutes of an April, 1704 meeting where he was listed as Surveyor of the North Division. Matthys married Sarah Prall (b ~1687, d 1727-1737) around 1700. Sarah was the daughter of Arendt Jansen Prall (b 1645, d 24 Oct 1731) and Maria Billiou (b 6 Mar 1650, d 1 Sep 1699).961 Arendt Prall was born in Naarden, Netherlands and was the son of Jan Arends (b 1620) and Marigje Post (b 1630, d 1678). After Matthys died Sarah Prall married Simon van Namen (b ~1690, d ~1740) about 1712. Sarah and Simon van Namen reportedly had four children: Simon (bp 1713), Saartie (bp 1716), Aaron (bp 1718) and Moses (bp 1725).
