TIGER - Maud Miller Halford Harrelson, 80, of Tiger, GA, passed away in Northeast Georgia Medical Center Wednesday, May 18, 2016.

She was born February 9, 1936, in Hartsville, and was the daughter of the late James Clyde Halford and Maud Miller Halford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several half brothers and sisters.

She attended Winthrop and Coker colleges and worked for American Movie Classics, Marcoin Business Systems and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She volunteered for the Prison Ministry and taught typing at DeKalb County Detention Center. She was a Methodist Church Youth Group leader, 5th grade Sunday school teacher, Girl Scout troop leader and Community Care helper. Mrs. Harrelson was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a friend to all who knew her.....

Mrs. Harrelson attended St. James Episcopal Church in Clayton where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016, with Father Steve Hall officiating.
